Kyong working with her student for pain relief
My practice is rooted in over a decade of Tai Chi and Qigong, alongside my work as a Reiki Master. However, my most significant discovery has been the Feldenkrais Method. It provided the missing link I was searching for during a long journey with chronic back pain.
Rather than seeking a quick fix, I found a way to truly engage with my own nervous system and internal context. It is, quite literally, a way to learn how to learn. The awareness through movement and functional integration as a continuous, evolving conversation with oneself. I am dedicated to helping others find that same depth of self-expression and functional clarity. By using functional movement to bridge the gap between internal awareness and physical expression, the Feldenkrais Method offers something different: a real, practical way to get back in touch with myself internally.
This is a process of self-expression and a pathway for anyone who wants to better understand their own body.
I’ve always been fascinated by the "science and soul" of how we move. My approach is all about bridging the gap between building real-world strength and cultivating internal awareness—basically, I believe that moving well shouldn’t be a struggle. Whether we’re working with the power of Kettlebells, the fluid energy of Qigong and Ma Wang Dui Tai Chi, or the refined nervous system movements of the Feldenkrais Method, my goal is to help you feel more at ease in your own skin and discover a more efficient, resilient way to live.
As a certified instructor in these diverse disciplines, I offer a unique toolkit for learning. I lead Awareness Through Movement (ATM) group lessons to help people find easier paths for motion, and I am currently deepening my practice as a student of Functional Integration (FI). This hands-on side of the Feldenkrais Method allows for a more personalized, gentle dialogue with the nervous system to uncover and shift old habits. By blending these ancient traditions with modern movement science, I help you move better, feel better, and tap into your body's hidden potential.
